A Quick One
I Don't normally like to just link to someone elses work, as I think it is a bad habit to get started, but this piece is just too good to pass up and I'm too much in a hurry this morning to write an header piece to wrap around it.
As the newly self confessed poli-slut Mr. Green would say: Read The Whole Thing.

Mercy is this music to my ears. As a fellow New Yorker, I propose a similar exercise. Let's share encounters with the typical NYC rapid media liberal and what they don't know or believe. My friend's wife is a journalist and thinks Bush's "axis of evil" is laughable but has stated numerous times that Rupert Murdoch "is evil." I met a network news producer at a party who is certain that Bush's deficits will destroy the economy but who 1)didn't know that the demand curve slopes downward 2) couldn't state the unemployment rate in either France or Germany, 3) thought US GDP was "something like $3 trillion." Or how about my Bush-hating college professor neighbor who has never read the US Constitution, the Bible, the Federalist Papers, the full SCOTUS opinion in Roe v. Wade, anything by Hayek, Von Mises, or Rand (never even heard of Tom Sowell), didn't know that JF Kennedy cut taxes or that the income tax did not come along until 1913. These and other lovely NYC characters are sure of one thing though, GWB is an unmitigated disaster. Would love to hear similar stories.
