Mr. Carnegie, Theres a Call For You On Line One.

China decides it wants to buy Unocal, then one of its top generals says this:
“If the Americans draw their missiles and position-guided ammunition on to the target zone on China's territory, I think we will have to respond with nuclear weapons,” said General Zhu Chenghu.
This is what we in the business refer to as a "dealbreaker".
Happy landings boys. Short of standing right on top of the Secretary of States desk and taking a big leak, I cant think of a better way to get us to say "no" to the Unocal deal.
I've got just one thing to say to you General Chenghu.
Dale Carnegie. Read it. Learn it. Live it. And get back to us when youre serious.
( I'm really happy that hes noticed that we have position-guided ammunition. It means it was worth the money we spent on it. So what do you think, would it be bad form for us to sell a few new Burke Class Destroyers to Taiwan and Japan right about now? )
