Sorry Senator, I couldnt quite hear you through the bile
If theres one thing I love its a good example of a bigot in the process of a whisper campaign designed to destroy a competitor.
Here's a great example from this months Atlantic Monthly, where the author interviews various parties on the subject of Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, wherein several "interesting facts" about the man are uncovered.
Excerpt:
...I was winding down our conversation when Senator Kennedy interrupted me. "The one question you didn't ask," he said, "was about Mormonism—whether it would hurt him in a national campaign."
"I was about to," I said.
"The answer is no," Kennedy said. "We've moved on. That died with my brother Jack."
Wow! You know, until this article appeared I had no idea that Teddy was related to the late President John F. Kennedy.

Odd that it (The Catholic Test) seems to have come crawling out of the grave to oversee the confirmation process for Judge Roberts.

How does Kennedy get away with this stuff? I look forward to the next Armed Services Committee testimony from the DoD because I want Rumsfeld, after all his activity over the last few weeks, to report and say, "So, Sen. Kennedy, what did YOU do this summer?"

All this time I thought that JFK was Catholic. Are you telling us that he was a Mormon?
