First baby boomer turns 60

I saw this article:

First baby boomer to turn 60 on Jan. 1

and immediately was reminded of this picture of Phil " I shot a girl just to watch her die" Spector

and thought to myself " apparently not a moment too soon..."

Ms. Clarkson may have been a "B movie" actress but she was truly beautiful. Phil Spector's reputation rests on work done so long as to be unimportant as to who he is now. Not that I'm saying his early work was unimportant, just that his work since his great period is so.
So to trade such beauty for such foolish arrogance, much less ugliness, is truly sad.
Feh! Put him away.

No one deserves the fate of Ms. Clarkson, and Mr Spector makes me sick to my stomach, not just for what he did to Ms. Clarkson but for a long sordid history of abuse of women; all of which were excused by hollywood culture because of his celebrity and "artistic powers".

but the picture, while it does makes me laugh in a "oh how the might have fallen" kind of way also helps illustrate just how insane the man really is and in a way, just how insane the generation allowed itself to become in its narcissism.
