From Michele Malkin, I found this quote from CNN on its official position on publishing "The Cartoons":

"CNN has chosen to not show the cartoons in respect for Islam".

CNN had no problems, however, disrepecting Christians, espcially Catholics, when it published a photo of the manure Madonna on its site several years ago.

Both the "Piss Christ" and the "Dung Madonna" were recently shown in one of the major papers.

Strangely, the offices of said paper were not trashed and burned to the ground by angry Catholics.

Oh, wait, Catholocism is a civilized societies' religion.
