(Bonneville Salt Flats, captured last Sunday via the 'Cellcam' while driving "blue betty".)

After one very long week in a building buried deep in the 'salt flats' just outside of Salt Lake City, I'm now back at my desk in suburban California. I can't tell you what it was I was doing there, but I can tell you I was in Salt Lake long enough to eat at the Red Iguana, Rodizio Grill and at Cuchina Toscana.

All three were excellent, and the 'after hours' activities almost made up for the butt-numbing god awfulness of 'system testing', which went perfectly, which is to say nothing went wrong, which as I said, is "face-implanted-on-the-desk-thats-covered-with-your-own-drool inducingly-dull.

Nice town Salt Lake, but it's good to be home.

Did you get to see the massive fresh water part, held back by the long dam? They have a fish called a 'Wiper'. Wide mouth Bass crossed with 'Striper'. A Great game fish and can not re-breed. The Engineering in the USA is fantastic once you get to travel and see it first hand.

ah, no. I didnt see anything like that. I would think that anything you put in the water of the salt lake would just fizz away like it was made of alka seltzer.

Here I grew up thinking I was the only kid in elementary school, that layed sound asleep in his own drool, while the slowest kid in class, that absolutely could not read, attempted to read, "The Declaration of Independance". Thank you Frank for a major boost in my self esteem.
