This is yet another reason why every day I'm less and less concerned about Obama's victory. We didn't elect an ultra-liberal sleeper, we elected a pretty (black) face. He now has no agenda except to get re-elected and will therefore steer clear of controversial (AKA important) issues.

The Republic has survived pretty faces before, we'll survive this. It looks like Obama's fate is to be relegated to the same historical category as Warren G Harding.
